Heifer International will be hosting a festival to include food trucks, local brews and yard games. You can visit all the animals as enjoy a nice evening dressed down. A portion of the tickets proceeds will go to help the Arkansas small scale farmers.

Free fishing weekend begins June 9 and ends Sunday June 11. No angler will need a fishing license or trout permit to fish anywhere in Arkansas. Five of the state Fish Hatcheries will be doing contest for kids 112 and under. Each child must be accompanied with a supervisor. Kids may catch and keep three catfish. There will be casting contest and win prizes for the fish caught.

10 Fitness Kids Health Fair

FREE COMMUNITY EVENT at 10 Fitness for the kids, you do not have to be a member. There will be many activities to choose from for the Kiddos such as Lazer Tag, family Zumba, yoga, and activities with the Little Rock Fire Department and Police Department. The Little Rock Zoo will be on hand with animals and more. This will also be the time you can get health services and nutrition education as well.

Mosaic Templar host a day long event that features activities, vendors, food and entertainment for the community. Last year in 2016 there was over 2000 attendants from across the state. This year we look to increase that number. Juneteeth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end to slavery in the United States.  June 19th has been the African American Emancipation Day since 1865 originating out of Galveston, TX
